Are Hoya cv Sunrise and Sunaise the same plant, a cross obscura x lacunosa ? Surely " sunaise " has originated in the trade of South east Asia as a phonetic distortion of " Sunrise ". However at Aleyagarden they noticed that cv Sunrise and Sunaise, when of equal age and exposed to the same light intensity show different leaves : Sunaise, on the right in these pictures has much redder leaves, and slightly thicker this is why they kept the name Sunaise of this obscura x lacunosa cross.
